End of tenancy cleaning checklist

Use this checklist when planning your move-out clean. Compare it with your inventory or agent’s check-out instructions and tell us about any extra requirements before booking. The quote confirms the rooms and tasks we will clean.

Kitchen

Hob and extractor degreased (oven deep clean available as an add-on)
Microwave and dishwasher cleaned inside and out
Fridge and freezer wiped down (inside clean available as an add-on)
Cupboards and drawers cleaned inside and out
Worktops, sinks and taps descaled and polished
Floors vacuumed and mopped

Bathrooms

Sinks, toilets, baths and showers scrubbed and disinfected
Tiles and grout cleaned, limescale removed
Mirrors and fixtures polished
Floors vacuumed and mopped

Bedrooms

Carpets vacuumed edge to edge
Wardrobes and drawers cleaned inside and out
All surfaces, skirting and sills dusted and wiped
Cobwebs removed

Living areas

All surfaces, shelves and skirting dusted and wiped
Carpets vacuumed, hard floors vacuumed and mopped
Sofas vacuumed under cushions where accessible
Marks on walls and doors spot-checked

Hallway and entrance

Front door, frames and switches wiped
Skirting, banisters and radiators dusted and wiped
Floors vacuumed and mopped

Appliances and windows

Window sills and frames wiped down (full interior window clean available as an add-on)
Washing machine drawer and seals cleaned
Kettle, toaster and small appliances wiped
Light fittings dusted where reachable

Extras to agree before booking

Oven interiors, deep carpet cleaning, interior window glass and the inside of the fridge/freezer are optional extras. Carpet vacuuming and wiping window frames and sills are included in the core checklist. Empty and defrost appliances booked for an inside clean.

Before the team arrives

Remove belongings and rubbish where possible. Keep water and electricity available. Agree key access, parking and the time the property needs to be ready. Tell us about furnished rooms, delicate surfaces and any product requirements.

Keep your cleaning invoice and agreed scope. Please report any missed cleaning within 24 hours of the clean, as set out in our satisfaction terms. This is our company checklist; it does not certify approval by a letting agent or guarantee a deposit refund.
